The Suffolk Wedding Show – Ipswich School, Henley Road, Ipswich.
February 4, 2009
Come and find us at the Suffolk Wedding Show at Ipswich School on Sunday 15 February 2009.
This really is a fantastic show and with over 70 exhibitors, is one of the biggest in the area.
I would definitely recommend taking some time out to come along, shows like these are great for getting ideas and contacts for everything you will need for your big day.
I will have samples of centrepieces and bay trees with me as well examples of our chair covers and sashes.
5 Simple Wedding Theme Ideas
February 4, 2009
Well-planned themed weddings can be fun and really give you and your guests a day to remember…here are some of our favourite ideas.
1. Butterflies
More subtle than hearts but just as romantic, butterflies are a very popular motif used for decorating wedding venues. Our chair covers and centrepiece items can easily be dressed to match this theme. Our topiary tree’s and birdcage candleholders lend themselves especially well to this. Butterfly accessories are widely available on the internet, use your own or potentially, we can source them for you.
2. Romantic Vintage
Lots of ivory lace, roses, candles and a champagne fountain are essentials for the vintage inspired day. Choose to dress your chairs with a sash of white lace or add an artificial rose for this romantic look. Our hurricane lanterns look stunning with this theme when decorated with a ring of small rosebuds. Alternatively, our birdcage candleholder will be sure to create a much admired centrepiece for your tables.
3. The Beach
Sand and seashells can be used to create a very striking centrepiece, while a personalised stick of rock makes a fun favour for your guests. Place shells in our hurricane lanterns and you have an instant, personalised table decoration. Provide your own or contact us to discuss how we can help.
4. Garden Party
Think bunting, hanging lanterns and our topiary tree centrepiece!
5. Chocolate
A blend of cream and chocolate brown accessories can look simply mouth watering. Dress your chairs with a chocolate brown organza sash and co-ordinate your tables to match…oh, and don’t forget the chocolate fountain!
We know that every wedding is unique and are certain that you have your own ideas for your big day. We would love to discuss these with you and will do everything we can to make your dream setting a reality…whatever the theme!
